SALARY: $91,963 – $111,383
Reporting to the Manager of Patient Access & Flow (PAF), the PAF Supervisor is responsible for on-site hospital leadership during weekend and evening hours. With an emphasis on facilitating patient flow and capacity, the PAF Supervisor is the leadership point of contact, problem-solver, and decision-maker for staff to ensure optimal clinical operations and high quality patient care.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required
- Member of a regulated health profession
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospital Acute Care setting
- Recent experience in a leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to a team of staff
- Demonstrated excellence in working with an interdisciplinary team and community partners
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated commitment to patient and family-centred principles and care
- Knowledge and familiarity with staff scheduling, labour relations, and hospital operations preferred
- Ability to engage and support all hospital staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
