STATUS: PART-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE JANUARY 2026)
WAGE RATE: $35.93 – $41.37
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, the Cardiology Technologist performs all diagnostic testing in the Cardiology department including Stress testing, Holter Monitoring application and scanning, ECG’s, Ambulatory BP application, Echocardiography support in IV insertion and contrast injection and other duties as operationally required.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required
- Current Registration in good standing with CSCT or eligible for Registration
- Ability to perform all cardiac testing including Stress Testing, ECG’s, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring application, and ambulatory BP monitoring in accordance with CSCT guidelines and standards, medical directives and all hospital policy and procedures
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Certificate in Contrast Injection and IV insertion or eligible
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends; ability for standby and multi-site coverage when required
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record

- Device follow up and implant including: Pacemakers, Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators, Implantable Cardiac Loops, External Cardiac Loops
