MEDLINEplus is a goldmine of good health information from the world’s largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine. It contains extensive information on over 650 diseases and conditions. There is also a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials. MEDLINEplus is updated daily.
Healthy Ontario (Government of Ontario)
The HealthyOntario.com web site, launched in October 2002, was created to provide Ontarians with a world-leading web destination for trusted health information, services and advice for healthier living. This site contains thousands of pages of original content, health assessment tools, health and medical information, healthcare services available in Ontario, and links to other Ontario health and wellness Web sites.
