Submitted to Markdale Standard Memories by Helen Ward. Building was a sash & door shop on Isla St across from the hospital – built in 1944. Later purchased by Centre Grey Hospital and housed the Pennywise Shop for a time in the 60’s to 70’s when it was torn down.
